Stars of Boston needed a full website built from scratch for two very different users: medical travelers booking under pressure, and corporate clients who need something procurement-ready. Two distinct entry paths, one shared platform. Within three months: 47% conversion on the corporate path, 4.8/5 from medical guests, and 210% organic traffic growth.

Stars of Boston is a Boston-based short-term and extended stay platform built for medical travelers and corporate clients. Think Airbnb, purpose-built for people who aren't booking for fun. Comfort, clarity, and reliability come first.

The Request

Stars of Boston had a concept and a ready audience but no digital presence. The brief was to build a full website from scratch that could speak to two very different users: medical guests booking under stress with limited time, and corporate clients who need something credible enough to clear a procurement process. The challenge was designing one platform that served both without compromising either.

The Process

I started with audience mapping before touching any visuals. The solution was two distinct entry paths on a shared booking infrastructure, so each user type felt spoken to directly. Wireframes came first to validate the flow, followed by high-fidelity Figma mockups built around clarity and trust.

The HTML/CSS build prioritized mobile-first responsiveness, since a large portion of medical guests book from their phones. The homepage led with an audience split rather than a default search grid, cutting friction for users booking under pressure.

The Outcome

The client approved with minimal revision. Within three months of launch, the platform recorded a 47% booking conversion rate on the corporate path and a 4.8/5 average satisfaction score from medical guests. Organic traffic grew 210% in the first quarter. The project moved into an ongoing collaboration, with continued work across new features, design updates, and marketing assets.
